ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS
Each year we contact recent graduates to see how they are doing. We ask that you complete the following survey so we have correct contact information. Thanks!
Career and Technical Education (CTE) has a long, successful history in the City School District of Albany, going back to at least 1914. CTE facilities and ensuing instruction are housed both at Albany High School's Abrookin Career and Technical Center (ACTC) and the main building. The ACTC opened at its current location on Kent Street in 1974 and is named in honor of "Manny Abrookin," a long-time advocate of CTE. Once the new high school is completed, all CTE facilities and classrooms will be housed under one roof.
OUR BUSINESS & COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Each year, our students hear from guest speakers, take field trips, and venture into the field for job shadows and CO-OP placements in order to expand their workplace and technical skills. Our business and community partners listed below have extended their trust, expertise and time to work with our students and "show them the ropes." Each logo is linked to the business or community partner's website.
